What's Been Going On?

Hey Kinder Friends,
We have been busy working on projects for Open House which is coming up soon. We did take a break and have some Armadilly Chili at the end of the week and it was nice to spend some rime together and talk about all we have accomplished during our fast paced and busy week.
One of our favorite projects was our watercolor sunsets. It was simple and easy to complete and looks great hanging in the classroom.
We also have been busy working on landform maps as we learn about the different landforms in Texas.

And our Texas poem has given us lots of opportunities to review concepts of print and it has given us a chance to sing our hearts out which at times we have needed during our testing and silent lunch week...YIKES!
We had a lot of fun working with some new centers from our friends 2 Crazy Texas Teachers. I was lucky enough to find this Texas Unit for my class. This has been a go to resource for me during our Texas unit. I love how easy these centers are to print and prepare for the classroom!
My kids love syllable sorting so this was a must for me to print and have ready to go while we were talking about Texas! I am excited to get the math centers ready from this unit by the 2 Crazy Texas Teachers Store! And if you stop by their blog you can grab a landform book freebie!
