Hey Kinder Friends,
It is really hard to believe but we are getting closer and closer to the 100th day of school. Are you excited? I kind of am excited I have to admit. I am planning on enjoying it instead of stressing over it this time around. Honestly, when I opened my files for this one I was not feeling very festive and nothing was feeling like a whole lotta fun. And this time of year there is really so much to celebrate! For crying out loud...we are all still standing and we have come a long way since the beginning. So I created a little 100th day fun and now I am kind of excited for this day. Making the 100th day snack has always been a fun activity to go along with all of the 100th day festivities. We have used this recording page to count out and record groups of ten. If you need a copy just click on the image and download yours. You can use this with teddy grahams, gummy bears, cheese puffs, Kix cereal, Cocoa Puffs, marshmallows, Fruit Loops, Cheerios, Goldfish and  popcorn. Enjoy friends!

100th Day Freebie!

Happy New Year Kinder Friends,
Just as we ring in the new year we start looking ahead to all of the fun we have in the second half of our Kindergarten year. One of our favorite days is the 100th day of school. I decided to give my 100th Day Trail Mix just a little face lift and get it ready for this year. Clicking on the image will take you to the free download.

100th Day Worries

Don't worry this snack is easy. All you will need is:

Teddy Grahams or Gummy Bears
Coco Puffs or Kix Cereal or Cheese balls
Mini Marshmallows
Pretzels
Chocolate chips
Fruit Loops or Cheerios
M&M's
Goldfish
Popcorn
Bags to hold the snack

I bet you can pick these items up the night before the 100th day of school if you are in a big hurry or you can ask your parents for donations!
And you know your kids are going to think you are the coolest teacher around when you integrate some cool math into this fun filled day!

And why not throw in some nonfiction too?

One hundred days! Now that is something to celebrate!

So what about making some Fruit Loop necklaces? Just click on the image for directions. I love this activity because the Fruit Loops are grouped in 5 groups of 20!

And don't we just want to count, count, count on the 100th day?

And what about a new book this year? This is a Kinder one...

Oh! And let me have this one too!

Ready, Set, 100th Day!

And this one is worth a look inside. I kind of love those tally pictures.

Happy New Year Friends!

Happy 100th Day!

Hey Kinder Kids!
I am sorry that I missed the 100th Day but you know I was actually working and I got to see and hear about the day through pictures and messages. The good news is that we get to do a little celebrating on the 101 day of school so how bad can that be? I have to say the Number Corner Crowns look fabulous!
Blue table girls, AKA The Smurfettes... y'all look so cute!
Look at that organized method of counting!
I sure hope you guys made a snack bag for me! I could even hear you singing our 100th Day songs and chants across the city.

So can we read it one more time? Just for me?

100th Day Celebration!

http:
In honor of the 100th Day celebration at TBA, I am having a sale at my TpT store! While you are shopping, pick up your free copy of our fun 100th Day Snack Recipe and 100th Day Mini poster! Please leave some feedback!
I love the 100th day of school! I love all of the books we read and we have had so much fun making 100 Day Trail Mix and counting out everything with a 100's chart. The kid's really enjoy making 100 day glasses to wear. Each year this fun event usually sneaks up on me and I find myself scrambling to figure out how I am going to participate. I always say I am going to make something and wear it on that day but I never have done it. This is why I am so super excited about my Target CrAzY HaT! I got this on a super special bargain and bought 13 of my closest teacher friends one too! I am going to decorate it with 10 groups of 10 different things. And I was actually so darn excited about it I had to share!
Oh, but better yet, a teacher friend just told me she got me the 100th Day Counting Tree Bulletin Board set by Artskills! She found it at Target for $2.50! And the CrAzY HaT... Just .25 cents from Target!
