In honor of Science Week on TBA I had to share one of my favorite books for budding kindergarten scientists.
The best part about this book is that the book characters are young children and it walks you through a seed investigation day by day in simple steps. And upon further investigation I would also recommend:
I am planning on reading this one over a period of a week.
And my new favorite! Now, after all of this who doesn't love the life cycle of a bean?

We do a big plant unit and I have all three of those books!!! The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle is another great one, and you can do a writing extension with it and have your kids write the the story of their own seed.
