Dear Leonardo

As I was driving by the school today I thought of you. When I think of you I somehow think of music. You taught me that there are other ways of communicating and connecting with a person even when language is a barrier. As an ELL teacher, you have reminded me that music can be powerful in a classroom and that I need to sometimes slow down and enjoy the music. I brought my CD's home this summer to listen to again. And when I am missing you all I have to do is listen. And I hope you remember the song in your head is the song in your heart...
Love, Mrs. Coe
