Celebrate Diversity!

We have been talking about diversity in class. One of the books we have read is The Crayon Box That Talked. I loved the last page of the book and I decided to make a printable for my binder easel or to display somewhere in my classroom. As I was creating this, I went to Frog Spot to find some cute graphics. I used Graphics From The Pond for the border you see above. I came across tons of stuff that I can use for making the freebies that I post here. If you haven't checked Frog Spot out...you should. I am running back for more of her cute stuff and I can't wait to use it. You can click on the image above to get your free poem copy and click on the button below to go to Frog Spot. I promise, you won't be sorry.
Have a great day Kinder friends...

I just taught my kids about Martin Luther King Jr. It was interesting for my rural background class, but I think they enjoyed it!

Thanks for sharing..

I love this book! Being a special education teacher, I have to not only teach my children about diversity but all the other students in our school as I am at a public school where my students can be integrated into the general education. I found a "colorful crayon" poem that I copied and place in a Memory Book for my students to keep at the end of the year. I read and re-read this book several times throughout the year. Thank you for sharing.
