Hey Hey Mrs. Parker!

Well Cupid came a knockin' just one more time! We were all totally excited to see what was delivered today. We got a package from Mrs. Parker, yes the Mrs. Parker. Our package was filled with chocolates, BUG stickers for my budding scientists and (do you believe this) a homemade floor puzzle! Can you even believe this? This was such a huge surprise! The kids now think Mrs. Parker is way cooler than ME! What? I am now in competition with the Mrs. Parker? Oh no. What is a teacher to do? I have to step up my game!

The kids had so much fun working on it. We are still working on it. This gave us quite a challenge. We love a good challenge. And when we have it together we will post our secret message.

Now we want to know if we can put you on our map and if your totally cool class will be our pen pals? And last, since I told the kids that you have a book linky party each month that is so super cute and now they want to know if you LOVE this book or not?

Valentine Exchange!

Such a super exciting day! We had a little snow and sleet last night and were hoping and wishing for a snow day but it was off to school as usual. We all were a little disappointed that we were going to have indoor recess when cupid arrived delivering the mail.

OM~gosh were we ever excited. We got a package from Mrs. Gabriel's class. You could not contain the excitement. Not only was it the day before Valentine's Day BUT the package contained a book I secretly had always wanted. During our indoor recess we were able to read our new book and we decided that we would save the bubbles for our next indoor recess day. We now have something to look forward to. It was tons of fun talking about letters today and learning how to write them. We are super excited to be able to go through all of the Valentine's that you had sent us and use them as inspiration as we write our own.

We really can't thank you guys enough...you made our day!

I found some really cute stuff at Target Dollar Spot and had to get it! The pink and purple hearts Target calls table scatter but I had other things in mind, like counting mats. I made these mats to go with those new manipulatives and I wanted to share them with you.
